Where Clúid has acquired units in mixed tenure developments under Part V of the Planning & Development Act 2000, the Association provides housing management services to the social rented tenants. Clúid has also been approached by a number of developers and local authorities to act as managing agent for the management companies of affordable apartment complexes.

Clúid offers a professional yet not-for-profit alternative to private property management agencies. The association provides a full management agent service, which includes:

• facilitating the management company in fulfilling their legal obligations;
• financial management;
• out of hours emergency service;
• health & safety;
• service charge collection and arrears control;
• repairs and maintenance.

In addition to this we provide an owners’ handbook and information evenings for the owners to ensure full understanding of management company roles and responsibilities.
Clúid currently is the managing agent for three affordable housing developments in the Dublin City and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown areas and is committed to taking on management responsibilities for one further development also in Clúid East.
