Synopsis of the Clúid Integrity Model
This is a summary of the Clúid Code of Conduct. The full text of the code can be found in the Clúid office. All members of staff are required to read the code and become familiar with it. The code applies equally to all Clúid personnel.
All Clúid personnel must
Always be courteous honest and fair in their dealings with their fellow workers, tenants and everybody they deal with in the course of their employment.
Avoid any conflict or incompatibility between their private or personal interests and the impartial performance of their duties.
Declare any outside business which affects or is likely to affect a contract with Clúid.
Avoid using consultants or contractors etc in a private capacity who are employed by Clúid.
Never corruptly receive or give any gift(s) or other advantage in return for doing, or not doing, anything or showing favour or disfavour to any person or organisation.
Never use their position in Clúid in order to gain benefit improperly for themselves or others with whom they have personal, family or other ties.
Not be involved in an appointment or other HR activity where they are related to the person or the person is someone they have a close personal relationship with outside of work.
Never use or pass on confidential knowledge acquired in the performance or as a result of their employment.
Ensure they use Clúid funds and resources for the purpose intended whilst striving to ensure value for money for Clúid.
If tasked with tendering or purchasing; exercise fairness and impartiality when dealing with all consultants, suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors.
Not engage in gainful occupation other than as an employee of Clúid to such an extent as to impair their performance for Clúid or represent a conflict of interest.
Discuss any possible breaches of the code in an open and honest manner with their line manager.
