Clúid announced as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland 2011

(24 Feb 2011)

Clúid is delighted to have been recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland 2011. The purpose of the Best Workplaces process is to recognise organisations in which employees are provided with a great work environment, and to encourage other organisations to do the same.

This was Clúid’s first year to enter and this is a fantastic achievement. A total of 39 companies are included in this year’s list – inclusion is not guaranteed as in order to be listed organisations must reach a certain minimum standard.

Everyone in Clúid has played a huge part in contributing to our success.

We are delighted to be announced as one of the Best Companies to work for 2011, we know our employees work hard on a daily basis to deliver the highest standards that our tenants have come to expect from us. We know our tenants also think our staff do a great job as evidenced in our tenant postal survey last year and the independent phone survey completed toward the end of 2010.

Brian O' Gorman, Chief Executive, believes that “more than ever you need people to go that extra mile for the organisation. You need people to be dedicated to the mission and they can only do that if they’re working in a place where they want to be and if they’re coming to work each day in a positive frame of mind (with a positive attitude.)”

Despite the challenging times we face Clúid continues to invest in our staff. In 2010 Clúid organised for our housing management staff to attend training with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) to receive a Certificate in Housing Management. This means all of our housing management staff now have a minimum professional qualification which is recognised in Ireland and the UK.

We are committed to working hard for our employees to ensure that we continue to be one of the Best Companies to Work for in Ireland into the future.
