Clúid’s ‘bread and butter’ is the provision of high quality long term rental housing for families, couples and single persons on lower incomes. Clúid manages over 3,000 units of such ‘general needs’ housing. Estates vary in size, location and type: from small rural developments of 4-5 houses to large apartment blocks in the cities. No matter what type of housing, Clúid’s aim is to provide a high standard of housing service and to create communities where people will want to live and settle.
All estates have a dedicated Housing Officer responsible for repairs, rents and other issues concerning the tenants, their homes and the estate. Some schemes have local staff such as caretakers, wardens or security staff working on the estate. We also encourage residents to get involved through residents associations or working groups.
