Clúid received a grant of planning permission for the regeneration of the street; St Michael’s Road. A total of 39 homes new and refurbished are included in this project.

A public meeting was held on the 24th of June to update residents, local representatives and other stakeholders on the progress and to outline the next steps.
 

A notice requesting candidates to submit for pre qualification to tender for the project has been advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union and on the e-tenders website. It is intended to have a contractor on site by the end of 2010.
 

Request for tender bids to a list of pre qualified contractors were issued on the 7th of October and results are expected mid November. It is hoped to have a contractor appointed before the end of the year.
