The handover of 23 units in phase one of the St Patrick’s Estate Regeneration project in Ballina took place on the 6th of October. The tenants are delighted with their new homes.

The completed two storey units have reached an A3 energy rating and the bungalows have reached a B1 rating. This should ensure that residents will notice a saving in their home energy bills.
 

The launch of phase one will take place on the 22nd of October and will be officiated by Minister Finneran and attended by Minister Calleary, Frances Mc Andrews, Mayor of Ballina, as well as the residents of the estate, members of the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, Ballina Town Council and Mayo Co Council.
 

The remaining units in this regeneration project are due to be complete by the end of 2011.
