This is a Clúid regeneration project and the last three houses in the St Patrick’s Estate Regeneration Project were handed over to tenants on the 22nd of February 2012.

The original estate comprised of 72 houses and a community centre. The houses are uniformly two story 3 bedroomed and were originally constructed in the 1970’s and 1980’s with some further refurbishment programme in the 1990’s

The new St. Patrick’s Estate is comprised of 78 units of housing incorporating a mix of 2 and three bed bungalows, two, three, four and five bed two story houses. 54 units were newly built and 24 units were refurbished or if privately owned availed of a package of external works. 60 units were made available for social housing and 23 of these units were allocated to tenants living on the estate at the time of the regeneration. 18 units remain in private ownership on the estate and add to the social mix.
