Upgrade the the play area are now complete in Cullenbeg Park
31st Mar, 2026
The residents in Cullenbeg Park are thrilled to have a safe outdoor play area for their neighbourhood. Local children who use the early childhood care and education service can now play outdoors on the new soft play surface with fencing to keep them safe from traffic. Before this project, it was not possible for the children to play outdoors as the area is close to the road and was not secure.
The completion of the play area is thanks to the work of Resident Housing Officer, Amy Dowling, who successfully applied for a Housing Finance Agency (HFA) grant and the Property Services Asset Management Team who worked with Housing Services to progress and finalise this project.
The Early Childhood Care and Education service does a huge amount for local families and children, and this has greatly enhanced their service, especially to children with sensory and emotional needs.
