About the Operations Department:

The Operations Department oversees key services, including allocations, tenancy management, rent collection, and estate services, while also supporting new property acquisitions.

 

Role Overview:

The Lettings Manager is an exciting new role to Clúid. They will not only lead our new Lettings Team but lead on the establishment and embedding of Clúid’s new centralised lettings function and processes across all our Housing offerings.

Their primary focus is ensuring properties are filled efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience. This role involves minimising void periods, managing performance, and collaborating with internal and external partners to create a best-in-class lettings experience for residents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and support the Lettings Team, ensuring consistently high standards
  • Allocations & Lettings: Own the lettings process for all new and re-let properties across all Clúid tenures, minimising void loss and maximising customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, prepare reports, and drive improvements across lettings activity.
  • Policy & Process: Develop, review, and ensure compliance with lettings policies and procedures.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in our Operations and Commercial Offices to ensure the effective and timely allocation letting of new build developments and re-let properties.
  • Resident Voice & Complaints: Engage with residents, resolve complaints, and implement improvements.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

 

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of housing law, tenancy agreements, and lettings regulations.
  • Ability to analyse data, draft policies, and improve processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
  • Experience leading teams and driving service improvements.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ years in lettings within social housing.
  • Proven leadership and performance management experience.
  • Strong track record in resident engagement and service delivery.
  • Project and change management experience.
  • Third-level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car.
