Turnkey Acquisition: Blackbanks View, Raheny, Dublin 5

Clúid is pleased to have delivered 40 new homes at Blackbanks View, Raheny, Dublin 5. Blackbanks View has provided new homes for over 100 people. This high-quality scheme was delivered in partnership with Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM) and forms part of a larger €54m long-term financing agreement, a first for the Irish social housing sector.

Blackbanks View was selected by Clúid due to its location, Raheny is in an area where local people may not have been able to afford to stay in their own community due to high rental costs in the private rental sector. Bringing this scheme into management has ensured that people from the area are not displaced from their own community, family and friends.

Blackbanks View, developed by Dublin Loft Company (DLC), includes 11 one-bedroom, 24 two-bedroom and five three-bedroom apartments. The new homes are conveniently located close to social, educational, commercial, transport and recreational amenities including St. Anne’s Park and Bull Island.
