Defect Report

As you settle into your new home, you might come across defects that may need to be repaired.

Defects can be split into two categories

  • 1

    Non-urgent defects which you can submit using the below form

  • 2

    Emergency repairs which need to be reported directly to Clúid Works as soon as possible.

Emergency Repairs

Emergency repairs should be reported immediately to the Clúid Works repair
line on 01 707 2088 (select option 1).

Repair Categories

Please record non-urgent items using this online defect sheet within 6 weeks after you receive the keys to your home. Please remember non-urgent defects will be repaired within the defects period and it will not be possible to deal with them immediately.

*Please do not report defects more than once.*

Electrical fault – loss of all lights or power to the full property or a full floor Rattling fence panel Shrinkage crack along skirting or door architrave
Unsafe fittings or exposed wiring Minor leak (example tap dripping) Hairline crack on walls and ceilings
No heating (entire property) Loose door handle Lost key
No hot water (entire property) Radiator making a noise Damage caused by the resident
Leaks that will cause damage to the property from water or heating pipes, tanks or cisterns Grouting/ seals in shower/ kitchen worktop surface scratched or lifting Door sticking or skirtings loose after floor installation by the resident
Blocked WC when only one fitted per home Loose switches and sockets Oversized white goods or cooking appliances not fitting standard opening
Blocked or leaking main drain soil pipe Doors catching/not closing correctly Leaks from white goods installed by the resident
Failure of flushing mechanism where there is only one WC Loose taps/ flusher on toilet External gutter dripping
Light bulb replacement on non-sealed units
Emergency repairs should be reported immediately to the Clúid Works repair line on
01 707 2088 (select option 1).

Please do not report a defect more than once or directly to the builder – even if they are still working on site as these will not be attended to.

Please remember non-urgent problems will be repaired within the defects period and it may not be possible to deal with them immediately.

You must allow access to our team and to any contractors carrying out repairs or inspecting the issues.
