Communities Coming Together this Festive Season
10th Dec, 2025
Across the country, excitement is building with the arrival of Santa to many Clúid schemes. Residents and Clúid’s Housing Team have been busy organising and decorating for their annual festive events with the first already having taken place in Taylor Hill in Balbriggan, and more planned for Wad River, Airton Plaza, The Paddocks and Lana Aoibhinn.
Festive events bring residents together in ways that really matter and give neighbours a chance to meet, talk, laugh and connect. They help new residents feel welcome and longtime residents take pride in where they live and the community they have created.
Festive community events make inclusiveness a priority, ensuring that no one is left out, and reminding us that the heart of the season is giving, coming together, and community spirit. This time of year shows the true heart of community spirit; people coming together to bring joy to children and neighbours. Events take a huge amount of time, commitment and organising and residents, staff, volunteers and organisations all play a part – reminding us all that community is more than about just where you live, it’s how you look after each other.
