Housing Practitioners Conference 2026

Clúid will be attending the 2026 Housing Practitioners’ Conference – Working Together to Deliver Ireland’s Housing Ambition, which is taking place in Whites of Wexford, Co. Wexford on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th April.

Averil Power, Chief Executive Officer, Clúid, will join a panel discussion on Thursday 23rd at 14.00 titled, AHBs: Delivering Now, Reforming for the Future, which will focus on strategic reform within the sector and delivery under the National Housing Plan. The panel will also feature,

• Fergal O’Leary, Chief Executive Officer, The Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority (AHBRA)
• Pat Fitzpatrick, Director of Services and Inclusion, The Housing Agency

Ann Hayes, Head of Development Operations will present at a workshop talk on Thursday 23rd at 11.45am titled, Strengthening AHB Delivery: Data, Discipline and Scalable Processes. The workshop will focus on managing risks as AHB’s transition from turnkey aquisition to direct delivery.

Steve Loveland, Head of Clann, will take part in a panel discussion on Friday, 24 April at 11.50am. The session will focus on the theme of Getting Our Future Housing Right and will consider how we can meet future housing needs, including housing for older people, mixed tenure developments, and housing for people with disabilities.

The conference provides a platform to build partnerships with local authorities, government, and leading industry experts. The team will come together to engage with colleagues and key industry stakeholders, align on housing policy and regulatory standards, and discuss collaborative solutions for delivering social housing. The event provides crucial insights into governance, funding mechanisms, and tenancy management, ensuring best practices are shared across the sector.
