Annual Rent Assessment Update
22nd Aug, 2025
Clúid calculates the amount of rent you pay based on your household income. We do this to make sure the amount you pay is fair. Your rent helps us to fund repairs and maintenance to your home.
This year, we are working to streamline the annual rent assessment on Clúid Connect, our new management system, this has resulted in a delay with this year’s assessment, which will begin from 1st September and will be rolled out on a phased basis in the months ahead. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Filling out your application
Your pack, which will be sent by email or by post, will provide you with all the information you will need to complete your rent review form. Please pay careful attention to the deadlines stated on the form.
Gathering your documents
The pack will guide you through the form, advising you about the required supporting documentation to verify your income.
Updates
Before we begin this year’s annual rent review process, we want to advise you about a change to the maximum rent clause in our differential rent policy (section 9.2). This change will affect a small number of people who have a household income which means they will hit the maximum chargeable rent, capped at
– €86 per week in the principal earner(s) category
– €136 per household per week.
Support
If you have any questions about the rent assessment process or how to fill in your form, please speak to your Resident Housing Officer or get in touch with the Housing Advice Centre through our webchat service.
