Investing in diversity means investing in each other

Clúid is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Investors in Diversity Gold accreditation by the Irish Centre for Diversity. This recognition places us among 33 organisations in Ireland to achieve the Gold standard and makes Clúid the first Approved Housing Body (AHB) to reach this level.

At Clúid, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) are central to who we are. These principles guide how we work with colleagues, residents, and communities, ensuring everyone feels valued, supported, and able to thrive. Achieving Gold reflects our progress, but it also challenges us to keep moving forward, making DEIB an active part of how we do things at Clúid, as well as integral to our strategy, policies, and everyday actions.

Over the past year, we have taken important steps on this journey. These include nurturing our employee Voice groups to champion DEIB, Wellbeing and Sustainability; delivering inclusive leadership training for people managers; strengthening family-friendly and flexible working policies; embedding DEIB in recruitment and onboarding; and using diversity data to shape decisions and measure progress. Each of these reflect our determination to make Clúid a place where everyone feels like they belong.

For us, this award is a collective team achievement. It recognises the effort and impact of colleagues across Clúid and our leadership commitment to DEIB being a priority for us. Most importantly, it confirms that by moving together we are building strength through fostering a culture that reflects the diversity of the people we serve and ensures our workplace is inclusive, respectful, and equitable.
