Clúid publish the pre-budget submission for Budget 2026

This week Clúid published the pre-budget submission for Budget 2026. Clúid is calling on the government to prioritise a number of recommendations to enable AHBs like Clúid to increase delivery of much needed social and affordable housing. These recommendations include

• reforms to the funding mechanism used for the majority of new-build social housing
• new funding for the management and maintenance of older properties
• measures to improve the viability of delivering social and affordable homes
• immediate reforms relating to the management and regulation of apartments and multi-unit developments
