Annual Rent Assessment Update
23rd Apr, 2024
Clúid calculates the amount of rent you pay based on your household income. We do this to make sure the amount you pay is fair. Your rent helps us to fund repairs and maintenance to your home.
Filling out your application
Your pack will provide you with all the information you will need to complete your rent review form. Please pay careful attention to the deadlines stated on the form.
Gathering your documents
The pack will guide you through the form, advising you about the required supporting documentation to verify your income.
Updates
Before we begin this year’s annual rent review process, we want to advise you about a change to the maximum rent clause in our differential rent policy (section 9.2). This change will affect a small number of people who have a household income which means they will hit the maximum chargeable rent, capped at
– €80 per week in the principal earner(s) category
– €130 per household per week.
Support
If you have any questions about the rent assessment process or how to fill in your form, please speak to your Housing Officer or get in touch with the Customer Contact Centre through our webchat service.
