Three years of NRAG
10th Mar, 2023
Last month, Clúid’s National Resident Advisory Group (NRAG) turned three. The NRAG was established in February 2020 and is made up of people from across the Clúid resident body. The guiding principle of the NRAG is that of partnership, with the objective of incorporating the residents’ voice and perspectives into all areas of the organisation.
NRAG’s mission is ‘to use our experience as residents of Clúid to make recommendations and take action with Clúid on issues that make a difference locally and nationally’.
The group has gone from strength to strength over the past three years, working on projects like the co-creation of the resident engagement strategy, involvement in the financial inclusion research, consultation on the development of Clúid’s anti-social behaviour processes and a resident led project on the role of the Housing Officer.
Over the past three years Clúid and the NRAG have recognised the need for sub groups and additional advisory groups. This has resulted in the formation of the Anti-Social Behaviour sub group and the Sustainability sub group which creates overlap with the Clann Resident Advisory Group (CRAG). Clúid are registering interest and in the process of creating additional advisory groups based on the need and requests of residents.
